Are the beads loose or strung in hanks?
Most fire-polish beads and pressed beads come loose. All seed beads, handmade beads, and machine cut crystals come loose. Rondelles usually come loose. If you do NOT want loose beads, please go to the Customer Preferences page under the Customer Service link to select your stringing preference.

How many beads are in a mass?
A mass consists of 1,200 beads.

Do all hanks have the same number of beads?
No, the number of beads per hank varies depending on the size and style of the bead. For example a hank of 3mm or 4mm fire-polish beads has 600 beads while a hank of 6mm or 8mm fire-polish has 300 beads.

Where are your machine-cut crystals produced?
Our machine cut crystals are manufactured in the Czech Republic.

Do you carry sterling silver or gold findings?
At this time, we do not carry sterling silver or gold findings. Our findings are all electroplated.

How many pieces are in a gross?
A gross consists of 144 pieces (twelve dozen).

How do I change my customer information/ password?
If you click on the customer service link at the bottom of this page, you can choose "update contact information" from the list of links. This page allows you to change the information in your account. You can also change your username and login on this page. Once you are finished revising the information, click on save. At the top of the page a message will read: ‘Your contact information has been updated’.

How do I register?
If you click on Sign Up at the top of the page you will be taken to the registration page. Fill in the online form and then fax or e-mail a copy of your business license, resale number, etc. (whatever your state requires). Once you have done this you should receive a confirmation e-mail with your username and password.

How long does account approval take?
Account approval typically takes 24-48 hours from the time we receive your business license.

Can I look at my past orders or invoices on the website?
To view past orders on the website, click on the Track Orders/Check Status link on the Customer Service page. From this screen you can view your present and past orders as either a PDF file or an Excel document.
To view past invoices click on the Invoice Tracking link on the Track Orders page. Invoice tracking allows you to view past invoices in the same manner.

Do you have a printed catalogue?
Due to the expense of a printed catalogue, we have decided to stop producing them – this allows us to keep our prices low. The website has far more features than a printed catalog, including: pricing, detail pictures, stock updates, and order tracking. It is also more dynamic allowing our customers to see new items as they arrive.

Do you sell retail to the public?
We only sell wholesale to businesses. This is the reason we require you to have an account with us prior to purchasing. We are happy to provide referrals to retail bead stores for individuals to make retail purchases.

Do you accept returns?
We are happy to accept returns on all damaged items or mis-shipments. Returns may be made up to 30 days from the shipment date. A copy of the original invoice must accompany the return. Please call for authorization to return merchandise. Returned items will be exchanged for store credit and are subject to a restocking fee of 20%.

Do you attend any bead shows?
We generally attend the To Bead True Blue Bead Show in Tucson, Arizona, the first week of February. Many of our products are available at most bead shows through our customers.

How do I find out when an item is marked back in stock?
By signing up for an “out-of-stock” alert, you can be notified by e-mail once we mark the item back in stock. To add an item that is out of stock to your list, simply click on the out-of-stock link next to the item desired. A pop-up window will display all of the out of stock colors for the item. Check the box or boxes next to the desired items and click the update button at the bottom of the window. To view your out-of-stock list, go to the customer service page and click on the Stock Alert Manager icon.

Do you give discounts?
Discounts are available for larger quantities. Quantity discounts are reflected in the pricing structure and are automatically applied in the shopping cart. An item that qualifies for quantity pricing will have an * at the bottom of the price group. All seed beads qualify for quantity pricing when purchasing more than 5 kilos. In addition to quantity pricing we also offer a per order discount for orders over €1,000.

Do price breaks refer to a whole category or an individual item?
In some cases a mix price may be listed (signified by an * at the bottom of the price group). This means that an assortment of the quantity indicated will yield the mix price. If there is no * the price break is per item. All TOHO beads are assortable when purchasing more than 5 kilos.

Do you offer back orders?
When an item is out of stock, we do not back order it. The website stock is updated every day. Inventory is very difficult to constantly monitor, therefore, the stock is 95% accurate. You may sign up for an out of stock alert by clicking on the blue ‘out-of-stock’ icon.

Can I check on the status of an order through the website?
In order to view the progress of an order, make sure you are logged in, then click on the Track Orders/Check Status icon under the Customer Service link. From this screen you can view your present and past orders as either a PDF file or an Excel document, and view the status of your order. To view order status, click on the appropriate invoice number (high-lighted in blue).

How do I get a tracking number for my package?
You may review your order information by clicking on the words ‘Track Orders/Check Status’ under the Customer Service link. Tracking numbers will only be valid if the order status is shipped.

Is it safe to put my credit card through your web site?
We have implemented a Secure Server through VeriSign. This allows encryption between our server and your computer. When the encryption is activated, you will see a “lock” icon in the status bar of your browser. The web site address will also read “https://www.czechbeads.eu/..." If you prefer not to provide us your credit card online, you may give us a call or fax us the information by clicking Contact Us.
